Program Background & Impact
Originally launched by GIZ in 2022, the LXD Academy has already trained 300 young professionals through a rigorous three-month curriculum. 80% of graduates secured employment in various organizations, proving its effectiveness in bridging skill gaps in the digital workforce. Building on this success, Dereja is scaling up the initiative with two new cohorts, training 150 graduates, ensuring 80% female participation, and targeting an 85% job placement rate through direct employer connections.
